RECENT WORK

Ever since I was younger I have been designing. I have been using the Adobe Creative Suite for ten years, and each year I have learned new things and new ways to make my creative ideas a reality. Whether I was making composite images, dinner menus for my family, or family newsletters, I was on the computer using Adobe Photoshop. I have also been very connected to photography, having attended the New England School of Photography in 2011. I am always snapping family photos, senior pictures for friends, and landscape images. In the past two years, I have become proficient in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator, and I have become more interested in publication design.

When I am producing my art, I always envision my end result first. I ask, “How can I get from point A to point B in the most efficient and effective way?” I create art boards on Illustrator or Photoshop of ideas because I prefer it over sketching on paper. I like being able to copy and past, or drag and drop, ideas from one idea to the next idea. With photography, I always think of composition. The rule of thirds is something I am constantly using and I believe it is a common theme throughout my photographs.

My current work consists of college assignments and personal material. The college assignments include items such as magazine covers, marketing materials, logos, and publication mockups. For photography, I shoot many senior pictures and family portraits.  I am really interested in producing marketing material such as magazine material, flyers, and business cards. I have recently designed my father’s website and logo, and it taught me how to work with a client and take their ideas and opinions into consideration. I like to make art that solves a problem, and makes something much better than it was before. I’d like to continue making marketing materials and perfecting my graphic design skills in the years to come.

I also have a huge passion for makeup and makeup artistry. Makeup is another form of art that I absolutely adore and I am always keeping up with the latest trends on Instagram and YouTube. I do wedding, engagement, and "just because" makeup. If you need your makeup done, I can make it happen.
